Safefunds Stops Fraud

Safefunds stopped a car sale fraud again this weekend. The scam was an old one. The story is, "the car is in the U.S.; the seller is in the U.K. and is willing to sell for cheap just to get the car sold. The seller has an escrow agent that will receive a MoneyGram from the buyer and independently verify release of the car". It is amazing that this scam is still out there. Of course, when our member told the seller she wanted to use the Safefunds system; the seller disappeared. Safefunds members are totally protected both buying and selling using the Safefunds system.
