Safefunds Grows as the Globe Shrinks

Our international membership continues to grow at an accelerating rate. More and more trading partners pick SAFEFUNDS for absolute security. An interesting February

Thank you to all of the Safefunds members using the service this February. We enjoyed record setting transaction volume and record setting member enrollment. If imitation is the greatest form of flattery, we should be flattered - but we're not. A new scam site appeared on February 13, using our name as part of their web site address. It looks good until you pay close attention and find out about the broken links and the false claims about ownership and investors. While claiming to be a U.S. based firm, the site is registered in Australia with phony addresses in the U.S. and Canada. It's a typical Moneygram scam , telling buyers to send personal Moneygrams to their authorized escrow agent. We are working with law enforcement in Australia to stop this fraud. Safefunds stopped a car sale fraud again this weekend. The scam was an old one. The story is, "the car is in the U.S.; the seller is in the U.K. and is willing to sell for cheap just to get the car sold. The seller has an escrow agent that will receive a MoneyGram from the buyer and independently verify release of the car". It is amazing that this scam is still out there. Of course, when our member told the seller she wanted to use the Safefunds system; the seller disappeared. Safefunds members are totally protected both buying and selling using the Safefunds system.
